Silvelox are an Italian company who produce high end products. All Silvelox doors are produced using state-of-the-art equipment and the expertise of craftsmen gained over four decades of woodworking. This combination of the skilled, human touch and high-tech machinery typifies nearly every process at Silvelox.
Frames are pre-machined using computer-aided systems, but then each is sanded down, carved where applicable, painted and put together entirely by hand.
Style is everything, and architectural styles vary enormously. From solidly traditional to starkly contemporary, the Silvelox range has been designed to complement all genres. A bespoke design service is also available, with prices from £3292 (ex VAT) including full installation.
The timber used on the doors range from Okoume and Northern spruce, to Oak and other quality timbers such as Meranti, Douglas, Larch, Chestnut and Teak. The Silvelox mechanisms also come in two mechanisms, Non-protruding and Protruding. Non-protruding, the door panel has no external protrusion but enters the garage, opening completely.
Protruding, the door panel has a limited external protrusion.
Silvelox can also produce exclusive doors according to a drawing handed in by the designer/architect.
Silvelox also offer the SECUR PLUS: the only wooden anti-intrusion garage door approved by the German Criminal Investigation Police.
