| Steel Garage Doors: There are approximately 12 standard styles of steel garage doors available from several manufacturers. They are available in standard sizes and can also be made to measure. Steel doors are sturdy and tough, and manufactured from corrosion resistant galvanized steel. They will provide years of reliable, hard wearing service. |

| Up & Over (Canopy): This is the most popular type of garage door opening mechanism in the UK and Ireland, canopy doors are available for doors up to 2438mm wide and can be installed quickly as the door operates in vertical tracks fixed to the side frame so there are no ceiling tracks to fit.
Canopy Doors are the least expensive option and are very easy to fit but are not recommended for automation.
When fully open the door forms a canopy above the opening of about a third of the doors height.
Pivot points are located two-thirds of the way down the door, which helps improve the security of the door. Please note double door sizes are not available with Canopy lifting gear, please see our range of Retractable (Tracked) up and over garage doors. |
