GRP - Glass Reinforced Polyester (Fibreglass)

Fibreglass is a tough and durable material which is virtually maintenance free and does not need staining or finishing. There are a wide range of GRP garage door designs available in both gloss white and woodgrain which replicates the beauty of the grain in timber.

There are 25 woodgrain colours including Oak (light, dark, mid), Mahogany, Rosewood, Teak, Ebony and Chestnut. With GRP Garage Doors there is no surcharge for made to measure sizes.

There are various qualities of GRP garage door, depending on the chosen manufacturer, defined by thickness of the GRP panel, translucency to light and the type of frame used for the door panel itself.

All GRP garage doors are available with canopy mechanism or retractable mechanism and can also be Sectional or Side Hinged.

When ordering your GRP garage door be sure to specify the finish to be applied to the reverse of the door.

Reverse Sides:

Option 1 Bonded over for a more attractive finish.
Option 2 Completely coated to give a smooth and even appearance and lessen the effects of translucency.
Option 3 The rear of the door is covered in a flat panel that fully conceals all the framework.
Option 4 As above, but the door is fully insulated before the panel is applied.
