Sectional Garage Doors

Available in Steel, Timber & GRP, sectional garage doors are a hybrid of the up & over and roller garage door designs and can be fitted to most garages. They maximise the drive through width of your garage as they are fitted on the rear face of the garage opening. Because of this, the shape of your structural opening is no longer of prime importance. Whether square, angled or arched a sectional garage door always gives a perfect fit. They are:
  • Ideal for Short driveways
  • Ideal for oversize vehicles such as 4x4's and People Carriers
  • Maximises opening width - existing frames can be removed
  • Maximises headroom clearance
  • Ideal for garages used as habitable rooms
  • Thermal & Sound Insulation

Sectional Garage Doors offer excellent security and are ideal for automation. They are available in single and double skin. Double skinned doors are available with an insulating core of 9mm, 20mm, 34mm or 40mm.

Sizes

Sectional Garage Doors are available from stock or made to measure up to 5.5m wide and 3m high.

Please note the ordering size of your sectional door is your structural opening size for behind the brickwork opening.

Space Saving

Sectional Garage doors are fitted on the rear face of the garage opening, maximizing the drive through width and removing the need for a timber frame The door opens vertically and does not swing out as it opens like an up & over door so you can park right in front of the door and still open it, this is particularly useful if you have a short driveway.

Security & Safety

Because the door is fitted behind the brickwork it provides an excellent level of security. Neat rubber seals all around the door prevent drafts and leaves etc blowing into the garage.

Sectional doors are a must for a garage that is on the building line. If a garage is built directly next to the pavement, it is not permitted for the garage door to swing outwards. In this case a vertically opening sectional door presents the best solution.

Warmth

Sectional garage doors can be manufactured with an insulating core up to 40mm thick, making them ideal for converting your garage into a playroom, workshop, gym, home office or storeroom.

Quality & Style

All Sectional Garage Doors are available in both ribbed and panelled designs. Timber Sectional Garage Doors are also available in a variety of attractive designs.
