The Hormann Open for Infill is perfect if you have not seen a wooden garage door that takes your fancy or you have a specific timber you would like to use. This open for infill frame allows a free reign for your creative talent whilst still guaranteeing a reliable German quality lifting mechanism for your unique door design. You can cut timber boarding to your preference, be it vertically, horizontally or otherwise.

We recommend the retractable lifting mechanism as opposed to the canopy for these garage doors as they are available in wider sizes and are easy to add automation to.

Please note there are maximum weight limits for infills.

With the Hormann Open for Infill there are two cladding options available to you, one is an infill within the frame, leaving the frame edges visible. The other is the infill overlapping the frame, whereby the frame and bottom section are entirely concealed.

What a great opportunity to achieve a bespoke look that you can personally take credit for and that complements your home. The frame is supplied with illustrated fitting instructions and suggested designs.

The Open for Infill garage door frame is also available in made to measure sizes and with a wicket (personnel access) door option, call us for more information.

Prices shown are for infill weights between 6kg/m2 and 10kg/m2. Double garage door sizes maximum infill weight is 7kg/m2. All doors with infill weights over this are subject to a surcharge for custom heavy duty gear, please call us for prices.
